A Reminder

Scholarships for all

While an immigration status can limit the type and amount of scholarships students can apply for, it does not prohibit you from applying if you meet the eligibility requirements. Here is a list of scholarships that are currently open or have historically been open to students in the immigration spectrum.

Before you apply to any scholarships

Eligibility & Student Profile

All scholarships provide a list of eligibility requirements for you to be considered for the scholarship. Creating a student profile will help your scholarship search and application process.

Eligibility

It’s important for you to read through the scholarship requirements to ensure that:

You have a fair chance of getting the scholarship

You avoid spending time and effort on applications for scholarships you are not qualified to receive.

You understand what the scholarship committee values most, allowing you to tailor your application, essays, and supporting documents to better align with their expectations and increase your chances of success.

Student Profile

Understanding your background is important, the more details you can list about yourself the more understanding you will have about the types of scholarships you are able to apply for.

  • Where do you stand in the immigration spectrum?
  • What is your Grade Point Average (GPA)?
  • Are you a first generation student?
  • What gender do you identify with?
